ISLAMABAD: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and other leaders in connection with a case registered at a local police station, ARY News reported on Sunday.
Imran Khan along with other 16 PTI leaders have been summoned by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Islamabad for interrogation into a case lodged at the Golra police station.
The PTI leaders who have been summoned for interrogation included Murad Saeed, Aamer Mehmood Kiani, Amjad Niazi, Raja Khurram Nawaz, Ali Amin Gandapur, Shibli Faraz, Asad Umar, Dr Shahzad Waseem, Farrukh Habib, Omar Ayub Khan, Hammad Azhar, Asad Qaiser, Hassaan Khan Niazi, Jamshed Mughal and Imran Khan’s Chief Staff Officer (CSO) Colonel Retired Asim.

The accused have been ordered to appear before the investigators at the earliest, otherwise, legal action will be taken against them, the call-up notice read.
Imran Khan and other PTI leaders had been booked in two cases lodged at the CTD and Golra police stations.
Yesterday, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore granted PTI Chairman Imran Khan protective bail in three terrorism cases registered against him in Lahore following last week’s clashes between Police and PTI workers outside Zaman Park.

ATC Judge Aijaz Ahmed Butter granted former premier Imran interim bail in the terrorism cases till April 4. The court also directed the PTI chief to submit surety bonds worth Rs100,000 each. The PTI chief appeared before ATC in tight security.
Khan approached ATC through his lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar seeking interim bail in three terrorism cases registered with Race Course Police Station.
Several cases have been registered against the PTI chairman under different sections including attacking the police in Zaman Park.
